I have over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, and families across educational, clinical, and home-based settings. These experiences have shaped my deep appreciation for the impact of early relationships, family dynamics, and environment on emotional development and mental health. They also led me to the field of counselling, where I can walk alongside others in a compassionate and collaborative healing process. In addition to my background in mental health, I have spent many years in the English equestrian world as a competitive rider, youth coach, and equine trainer. I’ve worked with both horses and riders at all levels. My time in the equestrian community taught me patience, attunement, and how to hold space for growth through connection; these are skills I now carry into the therapy room.
I am deeply committed to building strong, authentic relationships with clients. I approach each session with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand clients’ worlds. I care about seeing my clients succeed on their terms, and I work collaboratively to help them access their strengths, clarify their goals, and move toward growth, healing, and self-trust.

In my work as an intern therapist, I take a person-centred approach that emphasizes genuine connection and collaboration. I integrate evidence-informed practices from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to meet clients where they are and support meaningful change. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate—while also being honest and focused on growth. I believe healing happens when we feel both supported and challenged in safe, intentional ways.
My clinical focus includes working with youth (10+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, relational stress, people-pleasing, perfectionism and concerns related to self-worth, identity, and body image.
